No baby shower is complete without shower games. A good baby shower hostess breaks up the gift giving and cake-cutting sessions with a few fun, baby-themed games. Here are just three of the most popular baby shower games.

Baby bingo

Everybody loves bingo. In baby bingo, the hostess prints enough blank bingo cards for everyone at the party to receive one. Before the gift opening starts, everyone is asked to fill their blanks in with popular baby shower gift items. They can fill their card any way they choose. Once the gift opening starts, guests cross off the items on their bingo cards as they appear. As with a traditional bingo game, the first guest to get five baby items in a row on their card wins a prize.

Never say baby

This baby shower game runs the length of the entire party. At the start of the shower, every woman receives a necklace with a row of diaper pins on it. If a guest at the party says the word "baby" then the first person to call them out gets to take a pin from their necklace. At the end of the shower, the guest that has collected the most pins wins a prize.

Name that poop

If there is a rowdier crowd of shower guests, then this yucky yet funny game is always a hit. Prior to starting the shower, several diapers are filled with different kinds of pureed, mashed or crushed foods. It is good to use obvious foods like carrots to ensure that everyone gets at least one and less obvious (but more suggestive) foods like an Almond Joy bar to add difficulty. All the diapers are laid on a table, and the guests guess the contents of each on a card. The cards are collected and scored, and the guest that guesses the most "poops" correctly wins.
